Just a man using music as my therapy. My songs aren’t just songs—they’re stories. Most of those stories started somewhere around Hyatts Creek—in the people who raised me, the places I came from, the things I’ve lost, the mistakes I’ve made, and the faith that carried me through. That became Hyatts Creek, an Appalachian country album made from pieces of my own life. But somewhere along the way, I realized being a songwriter doesn’t mean I have to stay in one lane. Some stories sound better with a banjo and an acoustic guitar. Some need screaming guitars and a breakdown. Some might get your head moving. And some might just heal your soul. Some songs are my story. Some are somebody else’s. And some exist simply because I wanted to see what they could become. No genre rules. Just stories and music.
