Questions people are going to ask anyway.
So we might as well answer them in one place.
What is RIG-Radio?
RIG-Radio is an independent music platform for listeners, creators, communities, DJs, contests, and live radio. RIG-Radio 2.0 is the next version of that platform.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Free Listener and Free Creator accounts are part of the V1 plan. Paid memberships add features and higher limits, but basic listening and creator participation do not require a paid plan.
Can I upload AI-generated music?
Yes, as long as you have the rights and permissions required to upload and use it. You are responsible for the music, vocals, samples, artwork, names, likenesses, and any third-party terms connected to what you submit.
Does uploading guarantee radio play?
No. Uploading makes a track available to the parts of RIG-Radio it qualifies for, but Live Radio eligibility is reviewed separately. Uploading never guarantees airplay, chart position, promotion, followers, or revenue.
What is The Cue?
The Cue is RIG-Radio's vertical discovery experience. It gives listeners a fast way to move through music and hear previews without digging through traditional lists.
What is Live Radio Ready?
Live Radio Ready means a track has cleared the current RIG-Radio review requirements for use on the Live station. A track can still exist in the library even if it is not approved for Live Radio.
Who are Allen and Austin?
Allen is the AI music-screening assistant. Austin is the AI support and Alpha QA assistant. They help organize work, but human admins retain final authority over enforcement, removals, appeals, and platform decisions.
Can creators delete rude comments?
Creators have moderation tools for comments on their own song pages, including removal and blocking options where available.
Can I use RIG-Radio on my phone?
Yes. Mobile support is actively being tested and improved during Alpha. Some layouts may still change as more devices are tested.
What happens to my music if I delete my account?
Account and content-removal behavior depends on the type of content and any legal, security, broadcast-history, or recordkeeping requirements. Public content that can be removed will have creator controls or support paths as those account tools are completed.
How do I report a problem?
Alpha testers can use the Report a Problem button on the site. For general support, use the Contact page.
How do copyright complaints work?
Use the DMCA / Copyright page. It explains what information to send and how counter-notices work.
Are charts and analytics finished?
Not yet. The foundations exist, but chart-grade ranking and deeper listener analytics are still part of the remaining 2.0 work.
Will RIG-Radio distribute music?
The broader ONCE distribution workflow is planned for 2.0, but it is not part of the current Alpha-ready feature set yet.
Where can I see the legal stuff?
Terms of Service, Privacy, DMCA/Copyright, and the Creator Agreement are all linked in the site footer.
Still need help?
If the answer is not here, contact us. Alpha testers should use the in-site Report a Problem button when reporting bugs so Austin gets the technical details automatically.
