I look at your hands, worn from the years,And mom, I see grace through all of our tears.The calendar pages just blow in the wind,We never quite saw where the rushing would end.The mornings were busy, the evenings too fast,We prayed that these beautiful moments would last.Oh, life goes so fast as we race to the end,Hold onto the Savior, my family, my friend.The years like a vapor just fade in the light,But Jesus is holding us close through the night.We walk by His promise, we rest in His grace,Till heaven unveils His compassionate face.
